diy: swig strawberry breeze drink

IMG_5311.JPG

Summer in Southern Utah is HOT, and I was on the hunt for a “refreshing” drink for a long time. Tried a few with sparkling water and didn’t like a single one of them. Ask my husband. We didn’t think this drink I had been dreaming of existed until we tried the strawberry breeze drink from swig! I’ve spent the last few weeks rounding up all the best ingredients for you to make your very own. We were picky and went through a few different kinds of coconut creme to bring you the best of the best! Enjoy!

ingredients:

water
ice
strawberries
strawberry puree
torani sugar free vanilla
torani sugar free coconut
coffee-mate coconut creme

Instead of cutting up fresh strawberries every time I want a drink I used my vegetable chopper and chopped up a whole bunch of strawberries using the bigger square attachment. Then I loaded up my ice cube tray with strawberries and put just enough water in to turn them in to strawberry ice cubes. One of my best ideas to date!

To make the strawberry breeze drink I added two strawberry ice cubes to my drink, then filled my cup 3/4 of the way full with water. Then I add a half tablespoon of sugar free vanilla syrup, and a half tablespoon of sugar free coconut syrup. (I don’t actually measure this is about what I do though!) Then I add one tablespoon of the strawberry puree, do not go light on this!! Then I add a tablespoon or two of coconut creme, and top it off some ice and water. Don’t feel like you have to use these exact measurements. You can’t mess it up and it is truly the most refreshing drink! We have had it on repeat over here!
